A yellow diamond warns that a railway crosses the road ahead. At the tracks themselves you will also see the white X-shaped crossbuck; flashing lights or a gate may control the crossing.
When you see it
- ◆ Slow down and be ready to stop for an approaching train.
- ◆ Never start across the tracks unless you can clear them completely.
- ◆ Obey flashing lights, bells, and gates -- do not drive around a lowered gate.
