No parking sign
A No Parking sign means you may not leave your vehicle parked, but you may stop briefly to load or unload passengers or goods. The arrows and times on the sign show where and when the rule applies.
When you see it
- ◆ Do not leave the vehicle parked in the marked zone.
- ◆ A brief stop to pick up or drop off is allowed.
- ◆ Check the arrows and times -- the limit may apply only at certain hours.
Do not confuse this with a No Stopping sign, which means you may not stop at all, even for a moment, in the marked area.
